The first Rebel lure produced was the 3 1/2 “
Rebel Minnow. Its success came almost overnight. Demand quickly
grew for other sizes and styles of the now legendary minnows. It
wasn’t long before the fishing public began asking for other style
lures… models that would sink, others that would run deep, topwater
poppers, and later, crankbaits. A host of Rebel fishing lures, some
early models, are now legends… lures like the “Broken Back”
(Jointed) minnow, the Super-R, Pop-R, Wee-R and the Rebel Crawfish
series remain today as productive favorites in the tackle boxes of
pro and novice anglers alike around the world.

When the Rebel Minnow was born in the
